  Advansus provides extended product longevity up to a minimum of 3 to 5 years after the product release. Advansus bears in mind the product consistency and longevity whenever initiates a new product development project. In practices, the design team takes prudential steps in every BOM component verification in order to extend the product cycle as long as possible.

Advansus works in close collaborations with the most trusted suppliers such as Intel, AMD, ATI, Microsoft to secure the best supply and delivery for our customers. Advansus maintains active sourcing relationships with all key component suppliers across the multi-tiered vendor network to ensure the availability and flexibility upon mutiple-source components.


 
Assurances of component longevity
 
In the process of product development, the electronic engineering staff would evaluate the BOM (bill of material) list based on each component performance, reliability, development cycle, traceability and cost effectiveness. All efferts are aimed to extend product lifespan with reliable component quality and supply.

 
Revision control
 
Advansus will proceed a series of revision control process when the component change is inevitable. The second sequential step is to inform our customers of each engineering change via ECN (engineering change notice) and ECR (Engineering change request) alerts. All efforts and actions are taken to minimize the impact upon customers' business competiviness.


 
End of Life
 
Advansus usually gives a 6-12 month advanced notification of the product discontinuation when a critical components is going to discontinue in supply. To effect a smooth replacement and reduce to the least impact for customers, Advansus offers contracted purchase service for sufficient supply before production ends. New replacement designs and upgrade options will be included into new product roadmap for customers' choices.
